Established on the northern Coast of Brittany, in France, Warenghem distillery is home to the very first Breton Single Malt Whisky, Armorik.
The distillery is independent and family-owned for over a century. It was built in 1900 to produce the finest liqueurs, this craft distillery shows more than 100 years of experience and know-how and in 1983, the distillery became the first French whisky distillery. Armorik is not chill-filtered and without added caramel to preserve its authenticity and aromas.

"Dervenn" means oak in Breton language. The distillery has been innovating for 15 years in cooperation with the last Breton cooper in order to create oak barrels from our beautiful Breton forests. Armorik Dervenn is matured in these unique casks, developing subtle woody and spicy aromas.

Maitre De Chai, meaning cellar master in French, is the favourite of the master blender. It was matured in first fill oloroso sherry casks for intense sherry flavours combining with Armorik's distinctive elegance. It was awarded " Best French Single Malt Whisky" at the World Whiskies Awards 2018.
